Unveiling arrest of missing Hasnain Baloch from Karachi is a failed attempt of state to hide its crimes: BSO Azad

The Central Spokesperson Baloch Students Organization Azad (BSO-A) condemned unveiling of missing Hasnain Baloch son of Abdul Qayoum Baloch’s arrest from Karachi and declaring him as a terrorist who was disappeared from Quetta by the state of Pakistan.
The spokesperson added that the state is implementing on its conspiracies which are aimed to close the doors of education to the Baloch youth by connecting them in the fake case in order to achieve its heinous objectives.
Connecting Hasnain Baloch, a matriculation student, with the militant groups on one hand is clearly aimed to keep the Baloch students at a distance to the educational institutions and on the other hand is to malign the cases of more 40,000 Baloch missing persons. Unveiling arrest of Hasnain Baloch from Karachi is in fact the part of the attempts to hide the state crimes.
The extrajudicial killings and crackdown on the Baloch nationals, particularly the Baloch students, are the part of old policies of state, and now proving state’s illegal acts as legal by declaring the Baloch students as terrorists is also the sequence of the ongoing state policies.
The spokesperson further said that the state secret agencies had enforcedly disappeared Hasnain Baloch along with his brother Jihand and father Abdul Qayoum from their residence in Quetta at 2 am on November 30, 2018.
A press conference was held on December 1, 2018 against the enforced disappearance of Hasnain Baloch and his brother in Quetta Press Club (QPC) by their family which was followed by a protest rally for their release on December 7, 2018; protest rally’s record is present in the media even. But despite all this, facts are hidden and a student is declared as a terrorist which is worst and inhuman act against the humanity.
The military and civil institutions of the state are united in attempts of hiding their crimes of enforced disappearance and extrajudicial killing of the Baloch nationals. The media, disrespecting its journalistic principles and values, are fulfilling their duty of becoming state collaborator in this heinous act.
The spokesperson said that the international human rights institutions should take measures on immediate basis for the safety of the Baloch nationals and Baloch students in Balochistan, and should bring the state’s civil and military institutions in the International Court of Justice (ICJ), so that the Baloch nationals without any fear continue their political, educational, social and economic activities on their own land with peace.
