The BSO-Azad rally which began from Karachi Arts Council was comprised of men, women and children. The rally ended at KPC where the activists demanded immediate release of Zahid Baloch. The activists were carrying flags of BSO-Azad and banners inscribed with slogans against abduction and for early release of the BSO-Azad leader.
BSO-Azad Acting Chairperson Banok Kareema Baloch said that party was staging protest against the abduction of Zahid Baloch who had been missing for last three months. “Our central leader Latif Johar sat on hunger strike for 46 days but despite assurances from government officials, the abducted leader was not yet released,” she added.
She said that if Zahid Baloch is wanted in some case he should be presented before court of law. She vowed to press government with more protests until Zahid Baloch is recovered. She said that several other nationalist parties had also announced support for their rallies.
